As a kid living very near the railroad tracks which cut through our southwest side neighborhood of Clearing in Chicago, we amused ourselves by placing coins and other objects on the tracks to have the passing trains crash them under their wheels. In re-visiting this childhood memory, I decided to make something more of it. And so it became the basis of a line of jewelry I call
‘xpress jewelry’.
